you know how i know you're gay?

Well, i did the most homo-ist thing possible this weekend. it was at cocktail hour at a wedding reception this weekend, i was making my rounds, saying hi to people, loading up on drinks, and eating hor'dourves. so i was on my way to a bar station to reload my drink and i saw a friend (girl) that was talking to someone that looked like her boyfriend. me and that boyfriend have had our acceptable gay moments in the past and we mess around like that cause we know we're both hetro and make fun about it. it's like acceptable friend behavior right? so i walk by the dood, and quickly pinch his ass! i wait a second then glance back with a "wassup shawty look" that quickly turns to a "OMG WTF" look! the dood looks nothing like the dood i thought he was. he looked nothing nothing nothing like who i thought he was! i walk away with my palms up saying my bad dood, my dood, in the most manly way, so that he has no impression that I'm even slightly gay. at this point i'm thinking everyone saw that as i turn a bright red hue.

After i get my drink, bourbon and coke a manly drink, i make sure to pass by him and apologize again, just to make sure that if there is any beef i can squash it. but he was cool. so i go back to the table and feeling like i did something wrong, i confessed to everyone of what i had done. it got it's laughs and i deservingly got joked for my homoic actions. and for the rest of the night i made sure to keep a straight edge and not toe the line. except one occasion on the dance floor. haha.

i think i learned my lesson. 1. stop acting gay cause it's soo gross. 2. that kind of stuff is soo unacceptable, especially in public. 3. before acting gay in public make sure you get a visual of the dood that you're interacting with. but seriously lesson learned, i'll make it part of my best practices list not to act a fool.

music

Right now we're watching Hell's Kitchen. This show is soo freakin hillarious. None of the men know how to cook and Chef Ramsey is doing his usual yellin' and throwing food all over the place. It makes me think that i would actually have a chance in the kitchen. And speaking of our cooking, we made some sea bass on sunday. yum-o, we just seasoned it a little with salt and pepper, seared it in evoo and butter, baked it and served it with some beans and carrots. delish! ooo back in hell's kitchen, the teams didn't make it to main courses, all the customers walked out after 3hrs of waiting haha. jason freakin sucks on the show, and bobby isn't the general that he says he is.

Soo music this season has really slowed down. I dunno if i just haven't gotten into it but i'm really not feeling anything new out there. recently i've been listening to a few podcast of "mixtapes" from some hip-hop DJs.

Mike Rizzy. from the kuya tribe crew and reppin the 757/804. his mixes range from 80s and 90s rnb and hip-hop to biggie, tupac and tcq tributes. the mixes take you back and always make you go, "ooooh shet! that's my jam." check the podcast out it's free. bump it on your ipod, in your car, at work!

Krazy Kids Radio. These cats are from sf/oakland. I think they are flipino too. their mixes are just like Mike Rizzy. They've got grooves for the ladies and some for the true hip-hop doods. I just started to listen to these guys they seem pretty good. Get the mixes from the website cause the podcast for some reason doesn't dl the whole session.

Also check out clinton sparks' podcast, it's his radio show. he plays all the newest jams and popular stuff. on his site you can dl mixes where he couples hip-hop beats with rnb lyrics. there's also mash-ups and real mixtapes on there. you'll dig it. Clinton Sparks.

Right now i'm digging on some Goapele. Closer. It's kinda old but the beat is so chill and the vocals are soothing too. makes you feel all relaxed and happy.

oooo! jp sent me a couple of packages. hopefully it's a bunch of new jmas from def jam. if not maybe some "no bitchassness" shirts. or even How I Met Your Mother dvds!

keep me posted.

sorry i haven't been blogging lately. there's been soo much work to do at work and soo much on the brain at home. all is well though. i'll get back to you soon with plenty of legendary party pictures....i don't know about "party" but pictures usually make it worth the wait.
